js, yes they can. all it takes is a little physical thump on the screen at the moment you touch a "key." it amazingly feels like you're physically pressing a real button. if you have thought of it, then someone is certainly working on it in a lab somewhere. that said... this is like the MCP desktop, but it's portable. nice.
